The Roman Catholic Diocese of Manchester has provided more detailed records of sexual abuse allegations against 14 New Hampshire priests. Attorney General Philip McLaughlin says the diocese has been very forthcoming with information. McLaughlin also says his office is also looking into new allegations that priests from Massachusetts brought children to New Hampshire to molest them. |

Seabrook Station is reviewing new federal security requirements issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on Tuesday. The NRC calls for several measures including increased patrols and more physical barriers. Seabrook has already implemented additional safety measures such as limitations on traffic. All nuclear plants have 20 days to tell the commission how they plan to comply with the stricter security rules. |

Belknap County's only homeless shelter is going to triple in size. When renovations are done, the Salvation Army's shelter in Laconia will have 30 beds. But that doesn't begin to cover the need. An affordable housing shortage and increased lay-offs are contributing to the problem. Over a recent six-month period, area groups have counted more than 600 homeless people in the county. |
