Joining us this week in studio City editor for the Portsmouth Herald Lars Trodson and Dan Tuohy State House writer for Foster's Daily Democrat. And joining us from the State House in Concord Tom Fahey the State House Bureau Chief for the Union Leader.
On the Friday edition, we're going to look at some campaign ads being run by the state republican and democratic parties. We'll start with the Senate race.
Now we move on to ads running in the race for the 1st Congressional district.
Ramsey McLaughlin - Martha has today instructed her campaign to notify dem. party like all negative ads about Bradley pulled.
Kathy Sullivan Chair state dem party says she will respect candidates wishes, but feels ad pales in comparison to what Repubs are running. Kathy says their ad is issed-oriented That republican ad is negative and nasty overtones offensive to women.
When asked if Jeb Bradley had contacted state republican party about Martha ads, Deb Vanderbeek from Bradley's campaign said it's illegal to contact state party about party ads. I asked can't they approach state party after. She wasn't sure.Said they are focusing on their own ads dealing with the issues. New ads starting today and tomorrow on WNDS and WMUR
John Dowd State Repub Party says the ads are issue/advocacy ads.The party puts these out on their own.If Jeb asked that they be pulled Dowd would listen but said he doesn't have an answer as to what they would do
