How much do you know about the life of a Granite State teenager?
That's the question we've been asking all this week on New Hampshire Outlook.
We looked at adolescent obesity, risky behaviors, media literacy, and teen sexuality. We travelled around the state to Keene -Lancaster-Manchester and Portsmouth to find out what teens in those communities had to say about this time in their lives.
Joining me to talk about what we can do to help teens make their way through adolescence - Kristine Baber - Director of the Adolescence Resource Center at UNH, Rae Pica, author of "Your Active Child" and Marty Boldin, Marty is the Director of Social Services for Child Health Services in Manchester.

There's no doubt that teens are using drugs and alcohol. We heard that from all of the young people we talked to across the state. Here's what one young lady had to say when asked why she thinks some of her peers may be using drugs.

In recent years, more attention has been paid to the mental health and well-being of teenagers. We asked some teens in Lancaster if they have had friends who have dealt with depression.
