1:00:59 it was just about a year ago. Our state symbol sort of slid down cannon mountain and left us forever. 1:01:14 TR 1: Days after the Old Man fell, Retired School Teacher Louise Clements began penning a children's tale…in tribute to the great stone face. 1:03:13 how many of you actually seen old man.hands up in air.that's great!! TR 2: Clements wanted to write a story that would be a catalyst for children's questions. 1:26:44 we were sad about it people come from all over the world.to see it, shock They were very disappointed when he collapsed and decided to go anyway to say goodbye to him…that's of course where we got the story.old man goodbye. 1:03:10 TR4: Clements hopes to bring her book into the classroom - allowing teachers to incorporate the Old Man of the Mountain into the curriculum. TRT8: Clements says it was Nature that created the granite profile, and nature that took him away. The book is about enjoying the simple things in Life and remembering the Old Man of the Mountain. ernest said do we have time to drive to profile lake, we can toss our tokens into the lake as a special farewell to the Old man of the mountain |
