But we begin with a "New Hampshire Votes" perspective.
Hello. I'm Beth Carroll. Welcome to New Hampshire Outlook.
It should come as no surprise that New Hampshire is a battleground state.
Our 4 precious electoral votes are up for grabs.
That's why we've seen a lot of the Presidential candidates lately.
President Bush was here on Friday. John Kerry was in the state on Monday.
In between, we've heard from spouses, children, high ranking present and former federal officials, actors and actresses all talking about the issues central to the campaign.
We thought it was time we heard from the Voters.
New Hampshire Outlook has equipped 6 voters from around the state with video cameras and web cameras. We'll be hearing from them between now and the November election.
In this first installment, we meet some of the contributors and hear what THEY think the candidates should be talking about in this campaign.

The idea behind voter journals is to stimulate conversation on issues central to the campaign.
We want to hear from you. What issue do you think is central to the campaign?
Visit us online at nhptv.org and tell us what's on your mind.
You'll also meet more contributors and hear what they have to say as our
"Voter Journals" series continues right through the election.

Return to index of stories...
Just when the Bush campaign thought Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9-11" documentary was behind them. it's about to make waves again.
Moore's "Bush-bashing" documentary is heading into stores -- released on
D-V-D and videotape on Tuesday -- just four weeks before the presidential election.
From big cities to small towns, the film became a magnet for the anti-Bush crowd.
When it was first released Producer Phil Vaughn saw the movie with a New Hampshire Democrat and Republican to get their opinions.

Return to index of stories...
"Fahrenheit 9/11" was a box office hit setting a record at theatres for documentaries with 115-million dollars in ticket sales.
How well the film will do on D-V-D and video -- remains to be seen.

Return to index of stories...
We turn now to a story on fundraising -- of a different sort.
For a Nashua photographer -- the aftermath of September 11-th -- got her thinking about how she could help the city's fire department.
Laurie Thiboutot from LA Photoshop showed her support by donating her time and services to take photographs of all of the firefighters in their dress uniforms.
She wanted to do more -- so, she proposed a firefighter calendar as a fundraiser.
Julie Donnelly has more on the special photo shoot.

The calendar heads to the printer in mid-October.
Three-thousand copies should be ready for sale in early November.
The calendars will cost 12-dollars each-- Proceeds benefit the Nashua Firefighters Relief Association.

We were a bit delayed taping the show because of the voter journal project. The tapes were arriving throughout the day and we had to get them together and then we had to fix the keys to match. We finished the show just before 6:30pm.
