Hello. I'm Beth Carroll. Welcome to New Hampshire Outlook. Election Day is only two weeks away, so throughout this week-- New Hampshire Outlook will interview the candidates in the major races here in the Granite state. First, we take a look at the two gubernatorial candidates -- Republican Incumbent Craig Benson and Democratic challenger John Lynch. Richard Ager sat down with both men. We begin with his discussion with Governor Benson. |

Craig Benson is facing a tough challenge from his Democratic opponent John Lynch. Most recently, Lynch served as chairman of the Board of Trustees at the state's university system. Like Benson, Lynch's background is in business, although he says he will bring a very different approach to government. |

Monday, October 18, 2004: Today we started our candidate interviews with the gubernatorial candidates. Becky amazingly edited the 2 pieces today and we started taping shortly after 5pm. We finished just before 6pm. |
