Hello. I'm Beth Carroll. Welcome to New Hampshire Outlook. This weekend Scottish culture takes center stage in the state. The New Hampshire Highland Games -- the largest Scottish Cultural Festival in the Northeast-- get underway on Friday. The games - held every September - are filled with Scottish food, music and dancing. Richard Ager takes a look at a past New Hampshire Highland Games -- which is considered to be one of the largest gatherings of the clans in the world. |

In our continuing series "Making it in New Hampshire" -- which profiles individuals and businesses producing goods in the state-- we focus on Sharon Dugan and her basket-making. a skill she learned years ago from her mother. Photo-journalist Steve Giordani brings us her story from her Sanborton shop in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire -- about a half an hour north of Concord. |

Director's Log: Audio seemed a little loud at times. But it was otherwise fine considering how many key's we are using. There was an audio problem during MINH piece. It sounded like the mixer. Carl changed to a different fader and it seemed to be better. |
