Hello/Intro DebateReturn to index of stories... |
Welcome to NH Outlook's "NH Votes" 2008 coverage. Hello, I'm Beth Carroll. Election day is a month away and the vice presidential candidates have presented their case to the country on why they should be part of the next administration. Democratic Senator Joe Biden and Republican Governor Sarah Palin squared-off Thursday night in Saint Louis for their first and only debate. Palin and Biden mixed it up on the economy, healthcare, energy and other domestic and foreign policy issues, including Iraq. Palin sought to describe herself as a Washington outsider while Biden charged McCain would be a straight successor to President Bush. |
