Hello, I'm Richard Ager and welcome to this edition of NH Outlook. Over the past week, President Obama has done a lot of communicating. He delivered a State of the Union address, met with Republican House members, introduced his new budget, and on Tuesday held a town hall meeting in Nashua. He's had a lot to say - but is his message getting through at a time when his poll numbers are on the decline? Our panel will weigh in on that and other questions in just a few minutes but first, some highlights of the President's message to his supporters - and Republican opponents. JOINING ME IN THE POLITICAL LIBARARY AT THE STATE LIBRARY IN CONCORD ARE: ANDY SMITH, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF POLITICAL SCIENCE AND DIRECTOR OF THE UNH SURVEY CENTER; JAMES PINDELL, FOUNDER OF NHPOLITICALREPORT.COM; JOSH ROGERS, POLITICAL REPORTER FROM NH PUBLIC RADIO; AND RUSS THIBEAULT, PRESIDENT OF APPLIED ECONOMIC RESEARCH IN LACONIA. WELCOME ALL. |
