Hello/Intro Recession ShowReturn to index of stories... |
I am Christine Davis your host for this special edition of NH Outlook. As a resource specialist for the Division of Economic Development and the former Director of the Women's Business Center I have seen many businesses impacted by the recession. Not all of them survived but today we are focusing on those that continue to be viable entities because of how they dealt with the economic challenges of the recession. The businesses you are about to meet vary greatly in size and industry. The changes they made are also quite unique. Their stories may be different yet all share a common thread. They all possess a willingness overcome adversity by taking risks and making changes to their business model. |

We all face adversity in our professional and personal lives. When we are confronted with these challenges we have a choice. We can either choose to stay the course and hope that the problem resolves itself or we can take action. The four stories you saw today shows that taking action, in a thoughtful, creative and well planned approach is often the best choice. I'm Christine Davis, thanks for watching this special edition of NH Outlook. |
